Hi, I would like to take a moment to thank you for a very
informative publication which has been a long time coming. I operate a small automotive
a/c repair shop here in Va. Since subscribing to your magazine this summer I have learned
quite a bit about this ever confusing profession of mobile air conditioning. The VOV
stories are just one example of how I am making my business more efficient and profitable.
I can't begin to tell you how satisfied my customers have been when retroffitiing their
vehicles over and utilizing this latest wonderful device! Now if I could just find a
reputable compressor remanufacturer! Hope to do an article with you in the near future and
possibly get a little more exposure, not that I need it, but it would look nice. Look
forward to the next issue and thanks again. Dave Moore

John, just wanted to say thanks for your telephone call
last Friday! Good talking with you again. I also wanted you to know that the Tubeline ad
in your print magazine is certainly generating a lot of good leads! We are glad to be on
board with you, and you can count on us for more support in the future. As we discussed in
our telephone conversation, we will be adding print advertising for Braze Perfect, our new
aluminum brazing solution. We have already had excellent success in the introduction of
the product, and I am sure your readers will be equally amazed with the results when they
get a chance to try it. Look forward to talking with you again real soon! Keep up the
great work on this site and in print!

Angelo Mizzo. We manufacture A/C condensers in canada and have devoted consideral funds
and time through wind tunnel testing then practical fit and performance testing. We have
been independently tested for performance as well, the findings are that our product seem
to have out performed all other 3/8" round tube flat fin products in north america.

Please read the Air Conditioninngn, Heating and
Refrigeration NEWS, issue October 20, 1997 Test subjecT faints after inhaling HFC 134a in
botched Air Force exposure experiments. You can learn almost anything on the Internet, and
some of it is even true. But an on-line report of a test at a military base quickly turned
into an inflated scare story about the dangers of HFC 134a. THIS SHOULD BE A MUST READ FOR

G'day everyone,I'm looking for a bit of help and advise.
Aftermarket alluminium replacement cores have just been released in Australia. Not having
much to do with them up until now, I would like to get some feedback from you blokes that
have had a bit to do with them. I would like to know things like your thoughts on
alluminium verses brass and copper, how coolants affect alluminium, what's the most
suitable coolant for alluminium etc. The other thing I'd like to find out about is
replacement plastic tanks. Many are available over here but they seem to be expensive,
they average about $95 aust. I guess vehicles imported into the US from Japan and Europe
would possibly have the same tanks as the vehicles imported into Australia. What range of
tanks do you have over there, and what sort of price to do pay for them? Looking forward
to your replies.

hI! We're looking for retrofit options for installing an
air filtration system (like Ford Taurus' option on '96-97 models) on an older(94-5)Ford
Taurus/Mercury Sable wagon. The local Ford dealer quotes $2000 for this, and it seems that
it ought to be easier than their quote for ripping out all the old ductwork and
re-installing the new-style A/C ducting from a '96/7. We'd consider other similar vehicles
(Toyota Camry or Subaru Legacy wagons, etc.) if we could add the filtration system to them
also. Nobody in the independent A/C service business that I've talked to has done this (or
wants to). It seems like an off-the-shelf filter could be adapted to fit a car A/C system
fairly easily. Am I nuts, or is this an unusual/impossible task? Any assistance would be
welcomed. Thanks for listening. Jon Spangler 415-424-9828 ph/424-1440 fax

opinion, but I think products like this advertised on the net should have tech info on the
